Eisaal
Prayer times, Quran, duas, ziyarat, qaza tracking, khums, qibla and the Hijri calendar — for the Shia Ithna-Ashari community. Prayer times and qibla are calculated on your device, and the religious texts are bundled with the app for offline reading.
Eisaal is published by Eisaal Foundation for the Shia Ithna-Ashari community. Prayer times follow the Ja'fari method only, and every Arabic text, translation and transliteration in the app is reproduced verbatim from a published source. The app is free, carries no advertising, and works without an account.
Available for iPhone and iPad, and for Android phones and tablets.
What the app includes
Prayer times & qibla
The Ja'fari method, shown as three prayer windows — Fajr, Zohrain and Maghribain — with per-prayer minute adjustments. Both times and qibla bearing are calculated on your device, so they work offline.
Quran & supplications
The Quran, duas, ziyarat, taqeebat and aamaal, bundled with the app for offline reading, with translation and transliteration you can switch on or off.
Qaza tracking
Keep a record of missed prayers and fasts, for yourself or on behalf of a parent or another relative, and mark them off as you make them up.
Khums & tasbeeh
A khums calculator, a digital tasbeeh with saved presets, and the Mohr-e-Ameen sajda tracker. These records stay on your device.
